Product description

Muscles with their tendons run from the hand via the wrist to the elbow - 5 muscles on each side of the elbow.
The purpose of these muscles is to enable the fingers, the metacarpus, the wrist, but also the forearm and the elbow joint to perform many different movements and functions.

Many people experience pain, inflammation, tears in the tendon insertions and overloading at or in the area of the elbow, resulting in epicondylitis (tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, mouse elbow)

The Masalo® Cuff MED helps with epicondylitis effectively, quickly and sustainably thanks to its unique counter-traction principle.

The pain and problems of epicondylitis are located at the elbow, but the cause of this injury is found in the hand and wrist area.

Epicondylitis is caused by tensile forces of the forearm muscles, which lead to micro-tears at the tendon insertions on the elbow.
These overloads are usually caused by overextension of the wrist (e.g. when working on the PC with a mouse) or during everyday activities, during sport, gardening, knitting, crocheting etc. and by instability of the wrist, also e.g. when lifting loads and weights, or when playing tennis or golf etc.

The Masalo® Cuff MED helps with epicondylitis effectively, quickly and sustainably thanks to its unique counter-traction principle.

The pain and problems of epicondylitis are located at the elbow, but the cause of this injury is found in the hand and wrist area.

The Masalo® Wrist Support was developed to support the Masalo® Wrist Support so that the Masalo® Wrist Support MED can work even better

Function of the wrist support

The Masalo® Wrist Bandage itself does not have any medical effect, but is a useful and sensible addition to support the Masalo® W rist Support MED.

When the wrist support is applied, hyperextension and hyperflexion of the wrist are reduced and the combination of both supports gives you an excellent chance of getting rid of your pain even faster.

In combination with the Masalo MED cuff, the tensile forces exerted by the hand on the tendon insertions of the forearm can be reduced even further.

This prevents unfavorable overstretching and hyperextension of the wrist during many activities, especially during sport.

Even when working on the computer with a mouse, a more favorable angle can be created for the hand so as not to irritate the injury further.
